Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Callout: £180 retainer, £100 per callout

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Air Source Heat Pump Engineer with domestic gas qualifications to join our team. This role is predominantly ASHP-focused, covering technical servicing, fault-finding, repairs, and maintenance, while also supporting ongoing boiler servicing and gas work across private homes in London & the South East.

This is a hands-on, technical role suited to an engineer who enjoys diagnostics, problem-solving, and working across both renewable and traditional heating systems.

What You’ll Do

• Service, maintain, and repair air source heat pump systems
• Diagnose and rectify ASHP faults
• Carry out boiler servicing, safety checks, and minor repairs
• Perform upgrades and component replacements
• Breakdown diagnostics across ASHP and gas systems
• General plumbing repairs related to heating systems
• PPM, warranty, and insurance work
• Provide clear communication and technical advice to customers

Must have

• Gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
• Proven experience in domestic gas servicing & maintenance
• ASHP servicing, fault-finding, or repair experience
• Strong plumbing and heating system knowledge
• Full UK driving licence
• Good customer-facing communication skills
• Formal ASHP qualifications (e.g. L3 Heat Pump / Manufacturer training)
• Electrical fault-finding experience

Desirable (Not Essential)

• Commercial gas experience or qualifications
• Boiler installation experience
• LPG qualifications
