Service & Breakdown Engineer - SE England

Job Spec
- Salary Depending on area £43,302
- All tools. FGA, Brand new phone, Laptop, Van Stock all provided
- Van suppled with private use – All Vans are automatic
- Average of 6-8 jobs a day depending on travel – if a lot of travel is planned then work load is reduced
- Day is planned for 10 hours from 8AM – 6PM – engineer leaves home at 8AM and home by 6PM
- Salary covers 8AM – 4:30PM and then from 4:30PM – 6PM is single overtime – They might have work planned between 4:30AM and they might not it varies – If you finish work at 5:30PM then it gets rounded up tp 6PM. If they work past 6PM they DO NOT get paid overtime past that
- Engineers expected to be on first job at 9AM – again travel dependant
- Summer roster – Monday – Friday X 3 . Tuesday – Saturday X1. Client can request engineer to work 1 rest day a month if needed
- Winter Roster – Monday – Friday X 2. Tuesday – Saturday X2. Client can request engineers to work 2 rest days a month if needed
- No Call outs
Bonuses
- They have two types of bonus, Capacity Bonus and Efficiency bonus
- Efficiency bonus is made up of first time fixes and recall percentages. For example 95% first time fix and 5% recall would work out to 90% overall efficiency bonus. This is paid monthly but scored on a daily basis so room to earn extra money every day
Capacity Bonus
- This is the Daily overtime they are able to get if they complete work a quicker than the planned time – for example engineer finishes at 4:30 but has been planned finish for 5:30PM then they will get 1 hours overtime
Perks
- Private use of Van
- 25 days holidays + bank holidays. Engineers would need to work 1 of the 4 main bank holidays – Good Friday, Easter Monday, Boxing day, New Years Day
- Pension – Engineer must pay minimum of 4% and Client pay 5%
- Sick Pay – starts after 6 months and goes up with years’ service

- Night time stock replenishment – This happens weekly
