QC Inspector (Domestic Installs)

Our client is recruiting for a QC Inspector. This role involves ensuring that gas engineers’ work meets required standards under Gas Safety Regulations and internal compliance guidelines. The inspector will assess workmanship, review complaints, document findings, and support training needs where knowledge gaps are identified. Regular health and safety checks and quality audits across the region are key parts of the job.

Responsibilities:

• Validate engineering work against Gas Safety Regulations and company standards
• Identify training needs and provide feedback to managers
• Investigate complaints, workmanship issues, CO concerns, and problem jobs
• Produce reports and photographic evidence via PDA
• Conduct scheduled quality checks across the area
• Ensure engineers follow health & safety requirements
• Inspect PPE, vehicles, ladders, and other issued equipment
• Carry out regular HSE checks with engineers

Requirements:

• Valid ACS and relevant gas qualifications
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
• Social housing experience desirable
