- Description
Our client is currently recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems and appliances across various environments, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. The engineer will work independently and collaboratively with teams, providing technical solutions and delivering high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair commercial gas heating and hot water systems
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and current standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide technical solutions
- Build strong professional relationships with clients and tenants
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and follow company procedures
Requirements:
- COCN1 (or equivalent) commercial gas qualifications and Gas Safe registration
- Experience with commercial gas heating and hot water systems
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (desirable)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Knowledge of heating systems, pipework, and controls
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
