- Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a well-established property services provider. The role involves carrying out maintenance and repair work on domestic heating and hot water systems, ensuring all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Overview of the Role
The Plumber will attend residential properties to complete a wide range of plumbing maintenance and repair tasks. This includes diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and installing plumbing fixtures, while ensuring all systems operate safely and in line with current regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing maintenance and repair work on domestic heating and hot water systems
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing fixtures and pipework
- Diagnose plumbing faults and assess appropriate repair solutions
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH requirements
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with residents and tenants
Key Attributes & Requirements
- Qualified and experienced plumber with relevant certifications
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to propose cost-effective solutions
- Good communication skills for liaising with customers and internal teams
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours, evenings, and weekend on-call rota
- Successful completion of relevant criminal record and reference checks prior to employment
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
