- Description
We are recruiting for an experienced Gas Service Engineer to carry out annual gas servicing and minor heating repairs across domestic properties. This role offers strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and a healthy work–life balance for a customer-focused engineer.
The Role
- Complete annual gas servicing and minor heating repairs in line with Gas Safety Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and company procedures
- Work safely at all times, following approved safe systems of work and operational standards
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota as required
- Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and safety
- Record and report all works using a handheld/PDA system
- Report accidents, near-miss incidents, and potential hazards in line with company policy
- Work flexibly with a wide range of customers, adapting to different needs and schedules
What We’re Looking For
- Valid ACS gas qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive, flexible attitude towards varied work and working patterns
- Strong customer service skills with experience working in domestic properties
- Good understanding of gas legislation and compliance requirements
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety best practice
- Ability to manage workload and time effectively with minimal supervision
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (desirable)
- Additional qualifications such as LPG or Unvented (desirable)
