Role Responsibilities
- Carry out risk assessments of work areas and environments before starting work to prevent damage or injury, ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety requirements and Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
- Identify materials and parts required to complete repairs to company standards. Record accurate logs of work completed and materials used using the company’s mobile/IT system.
- Where further work is required, liaise with procurement and administration teams and inform residents of completion timescales.
- Manage and maintain allocated vehicle stock, ensuring appropriate inventory levels are kept.
- Be flexible in working hours where business needs require work outside normal hours.
- Carry out daily tasks in a professional, helpful manner with a strong focus on customer service.
- Report vulnerabilities or concerns through internal systems so they can be addressed and communicated to the appropriate client.
- Maintain company vehicle cleanliness, wear the correct uniform, and dispose of waste in accordance with company and HSE regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Level 2 Plumbing qualification or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
- Experience in social housing (desirable but not essential).
- Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse customer base.
