Gas Installation Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Gas Installation Surveyor to conduct site surveys, prepare installation specifications and support delivery of heating installation projects across Manchester and the wider North West. This role combines technical expertise, quality assurance and operational support to ensure installations meet compliance, safety and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site surveys and produce accurate specifications and quotations
Order materials and subcontract services to support installations
Provide technical guidance and support to engineers on-site and remotely
Manage day-to-day operational delivery to meet installation targets
Act as a key client contact, resolving issues and supporting customer satisfaction
Conduct quality inspections and health & safety audits
Support training, toolbox talks and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure contractual compliance and adherence to industry standards

Essential Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating & Ventilation (or equivalent)
Domestic gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1
Full UK Driving Licence

Skills & Experience:

Experience conducting heating system surveys or domestic installation projects
Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Commitment to quality workmanship and professional standards
