Gas Service and Repair Engineer – Job Summary
Gas Service and Repair Engineers will maintain and repair heating and hot water systems in domestic properties, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The role involves diagnosing faults, completing repairs promptly, and delivering excellent customer service to clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain heating systems in domestic properties across the region
- Provide high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants
- Communicate job updates and complete required paperwork (electronic and manual)
- Follow all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments and COSHH
- Order and manage stock to ensure parts are available for jobs
Skills & Experience
- Valid gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience in domestic gas maintenance
- Good knowledge of gas safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Professional, friendly approach with strong communication skills
