Salary: £41,000 basic
We are recruiting for an experienced Service & Repair Engineer (Oil & Gas qualified) to join a well-established and busy heating services provider. The role involves carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems across residential properties.
Overview of the Role
The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer is to maintain and repair domestic heating and hot water systems, ensuring they operate efficiently, safely, and in line with current regulations. All work must be completed to a high standard with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair works across a range of domestic properties within the region
Deliver excellent customer care when dealing with residents and tenants, maintaining high quality standards
Communicate job updates and progress clearly, completing required paperwork both electronically and manually
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH
Follow stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure required parts are available for each job
Key Attributes & Requirements
Gas qualifications are essential, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 as a minimum
Oil qualification is required
Participation in an out-of-hours evening and weekend rota
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused approach
Successful completion of relevant criminal record and reference checks prior to employment
