Renewables Installation Engineer
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Renewables Installation Engineer to join a growing and dynamic organisation within the energy and sustainability sector.
This role requires a reliable professional with detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems who can manage complex problems effectively, communicate clearly, and adapt to changing requirements. The successful candidate will have strong time management skills, a positive attitude, and a proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service within a team environment.
Overview of the Role
The Renewables Installation Engineer will be responsible for installing renewable energy heating and hot water systems in residential properties. The role will also involve liaising directly with customers, assessing their requirements, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
You will work closely with engineering and customer service teams, so effective communication and collaboration are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair faults within renewable energy central heating and hot water systems across the region
Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues
Deliver high levels of customer service when working with customers and tenants, ensuring quality standards are maintained
Communicate progress and updates, completing required paperwork both electronically and manually
Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH records
Follow stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure required parts are available for scheduled work
Key Requirements & Attributes
Friendly and professional approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and tenants
Proven experience working with renewable energy heating and hot water systems
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Gas qualifications are desirable
Ability to pass relevant background and reference checks prior to employment
Full UK driving licence
Working HoursMonday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break).
