Multitrader (Builder - Installs)

Our client is recruiting for a Multi-trader (Builder). This role supports the heating installation team by completing a variety of follow-on works such as boxing in pipework, tiling, repairs, making good, and painting. The position also involves assisting with boiler installations, vertical flues, and renewable installation tasks such as ASHP bases and cupboard construction. Strong customer service, flexibility, and accurate reporting are key.

Responsibilities:

• Complete follow-on works after heating installations (boxing in, tiling, ceiling repairs, painting, making good)
• Assist install engineers and work closely with Area Manager/admin teams
• Support with vertical flue installation, including roof work and bracing
• Help with ASHP installations (build bases, lift floorboards, construct cupboards)
• Support boiler installations where needed
• Attend all allocated jobs, reporting delays promptly
• Maintain accurate logs and update PDA/IT systems
• Communicate further work requirements and timescales to residents and management
• Keep company vehicle clean and dispose of waste correctly
• Manage daily workload independently and professionally
• Work flexibly when required

Requirements:

• City & Guilds multi-trade/building qualification or relevant demonstrable experience
