Our client is seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Electrician to service, maintain, and repair Solar PV systems and assist with other renewable technologies such as ASHP, GSHP, MVHR, and EAHP. The role requires strong technical expertise, effective problem-solving, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems
Carry out site assessments and recommend efficiency improvements
Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime
Provide training and support to clients on system use and maintenance
Work with engineers on system enhancements
Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
Keep accurate records of service and system performance
Requirements:
Approved recognised trade qualification such as City & Guilds, SVQ level 3 or equivalent.
Trained to current regulations (18th Edition), hold an inspections & testing certificate along with a CSCS or ECS card.
Industry knowledges with Renewable Fuels such as Solar PV, Battery Storage, and Air Source Heat Pumps, as well as Gas Boilers
Strong communication skills as you will be relaying technical information to customers and colleagues.
Working knowledge and understanding of all current Health and Safety legislation.Relevant electrical/renewable qualifications
Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
Social housing experience desirable
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work with diverse customers
Solar PV experience essential
