Our client is recruiting for a Lead Gas Engineer. This role supports the Area Manager and leads a domestic gas engineering team, ensuring high technical standards, safety, and strong performance. Responsibilities include handling complaints, conducting audits, coaching engineers, providing technical support, and maintaining excellent personal performance. The position also involves producing investigation reports and completing tasks assigned by management.
Responsibilities:
Support the Area Manager with team performance
Lead on technical quality, compliance, and safety
Investigate and resolve complaint jobs
Carry out engineer audits and provide coaching
Produce investigation reports as needed
Offer technical support to engineers
Deliver excellent personal performance
Complete additional tasks set by managers or directorsRequirements:
Valid ACS and relevant gas qualifications
Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
Social housing experience desirable
Strong customer service skills
